Frank Carrera

Frank Carrera (alias Francesco Orizi) guitarist, backing vocalist, arranger, composer, producer, teacher, was born in Pesaro on 29 June 1986. At the age of 20 he joined the Band of Matthew Lee , with whom he trod several prestigious stages such as "Blue Note" in Milan, "Musicultura", "Summer Jamboree" and many blues festivals such as Soul island festival, San Severino Blues festival, Brindisi blues festival, Subiaco Blues festival , Lodi Blues festival, Tropea blues festival, Campania Blues, Blues in Town.

He has participated in numerous prestigious festivals also abroad , such as the Hammamet International Festival (Tunisia); Cornbury Festival (UK); Montauban Festival (France) Theater Du Leman Geneve (Switzerland); 100 club London (UK); International Festival Boogie Woogie Brussels (Belgium) and many others.

In 2015 he recorded the album "D’altri tempo" in England at Jools Holland's "Helicon Mountain Studios" and in Italy with Luca Chiaravalli (Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, Renga ...); produces and arranges with Matthew Lee the song "Rout 66" which will become part of the theme song of a Rai program entitled "Dreams Road".

In 2016 writes and produces the song "Shout out Christmas" which becomes part of the Virgin Radio Christmas compilation "Xmas in Rock" together with other artists like Marky Ramone (Ramones bastterist), Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols bassist), Lacuna Coil…

He is currently engaged in the studio at writing and recording the new Matthew Lee record together with producer Niccolò Fragile (Mina, Eros Ramazzotti, Irene Grandi, Renato Zero, Vasco Rossi ...) and live with “Italian Roots Tour”, in addition to an intense teaching activity in their school in Cattolica.
