Federico Poggipollini, also called and known as Capitan Fede, fundamental guitarist of the Italian rock panorama, historical sidekick of the Liga, is a virtuous and passionate guitarist, famous for a precise and emotional sound.
Musician of great personality and stage presence who never spares a drop of his sweat and talent in live, who either is in front of thousands of people or a few hundred, sincere soul of Italian music and also loved by his audience for this.
His debut, in 1990, when he participated in the recording of the album El Diablo by Litfiba, later Rebel Dream and Earthquake With the Tribute to Augusto Daolio (1994) and Happy Birthday Elvis (1995) became part of the group that accompanying Luciano Ligabue.
From there, his career was a continuous growth, a succession of concerts and live performances.
Last effort and great success is the Album "Nero", a record that represents a turning point, consisting of 10 songs of clear garage rock inspiration, played entirely live in the studio live between Bologna and San Francisco.
Nero, the color par excellence of Rock, but also black music (blues, soul) musical contaminations present in the album, whose mixture creates an incisive sound with an overwhelming effect.
Federico, back from the success with Ligabue in the Campovolo concerts, is engaged in the presentation of his latest work "Canzoni rubate", which coming out in October 2020, dedicated to his new songs and to some covers of small pearls of Italian music, rearranged by himself and reinterpreted, including "Il Chiodo" tribute to Freak Antoni and the Skiantos.
