Giulio Vampa
Professional guitarist (born in 1980), Giulio Vampa began his studies in '95 thanks to local teachers such as Giovanni Maroncelli and Marco Di Meo and during this passionate quest for learning, he begins to have his first LIVE experiences ... experiences that continue incessantly to accompany him in his career to this day.
Between 2003 and 2005 he participates in various Master Classes and lessons, held by musicians and teachers such as Ed Saindon (Berklee College Of Music in Boston), Bruce Bartlett (Berklee College of Music), Massimo Varini and Giacomo Castellano. < / p>
In both 1998 and 2003 he took part in the Guitar Connection competition, finishing in first and second place respectively.
In 2002 he joined the progressive rock band Odessa, with whom, in addition to the release of a self-produced album (The Final Day, 2009), he participated in several international progressive rock festivals: Prog'Sud (Marseille-France), Prog Farm (Bakkaveen- Holland), Baja Prog (Mexicali-Mexico), JakArt (Jakarta-Indonesia). In addition to festivals, with Odessa, he performs in various venues including the Moods of Monte Carlo, and collects great experiences, including the performance together with Ian Paice (Deep Purple drummer) in 2010.
Simultaneously with the Odessa, Giulio Vampa joins numerous ensembles with which he has the opportunity to deepen different genres and musical styles: together with the orchestra of the Academy of Modern Music he has the opportunity to play with Max Gazzè in 2007 and with Francesco Baccini in 2008; in 2011 he shares the stage with Cesareo (guitarist of Elio e le Storie Tese) together with the tribute band of Elio (Men with the Borsello) of which he has been a member since 2006 ... he still dedicates himself with passion and dedication to live music performing in various contexts that they range from Rock / Hard Rock to Blues music, from Funky to Jazz, from Reggae to Italian and foreign songwriters, from acoustic to electric ...
